It’s been a while & I hope all is going really well for you and yours these days.
I wanted to invite you to a special Charity Concert event that Dimitry from cafe Absinthe and myself are sponsoring.
This concert will help support underprivileged Kids in the Osaka area & it will be happening on Sunday, Sept. 11th at “VIP Lounge Wormwood” (Cafe Absinthe B1).
Japan has given us all so much over the years , and Dmitry and I are wanting this to be a way we can start to give back to our local community.
This charity event is to benefit children who are malnourished, abused and neglected & ate living in the Osaka area.
Although it’s been kept pretty quiet and hidden in Japan, some long time friends & I have recently directly found that there are thousands of kids that are suffering from mal- nutrition and parental abuse of all kinds.
We have met and have been working with a great organization called the “Himawari Social Welfare Service Corporation” who are working to aid these kids to get proper nutrition and education.
All the background information is on the flyer I’ve attached , but I wanted to explain a little about what we’re doing and the kids that our concert will benefit.
The cost of one ticket is ¥3500 yen and it includes a full Mediterranean style buffet and 1 drink.
After Dimitry & Miho from VIP Wormwood cover their food costs, 100% of the ticket cost will go to these kids.
It will also be possible to donate more if you feel inspired! If you can’t make it, but you are inspired to donate, that is also possible & the information is on the flyer as to how to donate.
The Charity Concert Event starts from 17:00 and ends at 20:00 on Sunday, September 11th.(Doors open 16:30).
There is already a project helping these kids to get their proper nutrition, so this Charity Event will focus more on their educational needs.
The main goal of this event is to raise enough money to buy the kids educational electronic study tablets.
We will be following up and making sure that all the funds raised go directly to these young children who are in need.
Please RSVP to let me know if you can make it and I will hold tickets in your name.
I hope you can join us and help support these local kids!
